Job summary

Targeting Officers guide and monitor collection operations and integrate the resulting insights into a cohesive intelligence narrative. They must communicate this narrative clearly in written and oral briefings and identify information gaps to address them.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 4–8 years of full-time professional experience.
• Master’s degree is highly desirable with 2–6 years experience.
• Requires TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• Weekly rotating 24/7 shift, including weekends and holidays.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; multitasking; ability to work in high-stress environments.
• Experience with targeting tools, databases, all-source targeting methodologies and various intel sources.
• Valid driver’s license with Real ID.

Responsibilities

• Guide and monitor the execution of collection operations and integrate the information into a cohesive intelligence narrative.
• Communicate that narrative to stakeholders in written and verbal briefings.
• Identify information gaps and take proactive steps to address them.
• Draft and disseminate written RFIs.
• Deliver concise briefings under high-stress conditions.
