GENERAL FUNCTION

The Licensed Optician ensures the delivery of the Target Optical Way and the Guest Experience, embodying our core mindsets: People Focused, Collaborative, Results-Driven, Think Differently, and Fun & In Style.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

• Achieve daily sales goals by delivering excellent Guest Experiences.
• Create a fun, stylish shopping environment following the Playground Rules.
• Attract new Guests and build brand awareness.
• Maintain a professional partnership with the Target Optical doctor and store team.
• Adhere to the Target Optical Personal Style Dress Code.
• Provide accurate fitting and fashionable product dispensing for Guests.
• Follow all operational policies, including sales transactions, marketing, and merchandising programs.
• Ensure transaction and interaction accuracy with Guests.

Basic Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• State licensing as required
• At least 1 year of retail or customer service experience
• Basic computer skills
• Strong selling skills
• Results-oriented, self-motivated, and accountable
• Critical thinking and measurement accuracy
