Job summary

The City University of New York is seeking a Financial Aid Manager to oversee TAP certifying and ensure compliance with HESC regulations. You will review student eligibility, certify awards, and manage adjustments while coordinating with CUNYfirst and EFAN transfers.

The role requires strong knowledge of TAP rules, SAP and Title IV interfaces, and the ability to generate reports for enrollment and certification tracking. Evening/weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and six years’ related experience required.
• Master’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review and certify student TAP eligibility according to HESC and CUNY policies.
• Perform TAP award adjustments, decertification, and recalculations based on enrollment changes.
• Validate data in CUNYfirst and EFAN submissions to HESC.
• Run CUNYfirst queries to identify eligibility issues and discrepancies.
• Develop reports to track TAP trends and certification activity.
• Collaborate with Registrar, Bursar, and academics to verify enrollment and degree requirements.
• Prepare TAP processing and reconciliation data analyses.
