Qualifications

• STCW II/1, II/4 and II/5 requirements for watch keeping and safety.
• USCG Medical Certificate and valid passport are mandatory.
• TWIC card and English language proficiency required.
• Experience with oil tanker operations is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain bridge watch and navigational duties.
• Handle oil/ballast and cargo operations under Chief Mate.
• Inspect and maintain fire and safety equipment.
• Maintain logs and emergency equipment plans.
• Turnover with relief prior to leaving vessel.
