Job summary

Lion Freight Systems Inc is seeking Experienced CDL-A Tanker/Hazmat Drivers to join as 1099 contractors. The role is based in Chicago, with 48ft reefer trailers, live loads, and hazmat liquids; routes cover the Midwest, East Coast, and South.

Earn $0.80 per mile with weekly pay ranging from $2,200 to $2,400, plus detention, layover, and safety bonuses. Home time is 2–3 weeks on the road with 2–3 days off; flights and drug tests are covered.

Job Details:

• Pay: $0.80/mile (all miles paid – empty & loaded)


• WeeklyEarnings: $2,200–$2,400 based on mileage.


• Additional Pay: Detention, layover, and extra stops.


• Bonuses: Safety bonuses & cash advances available.


• Position: 1099 contractor.


• Location: Chicago-based (flight & drug test paid).


• Home Time: 2-3 weeks on the road, 2-3 days off (take the truck home).


• Pay Schedule: Monday to Monday, paycheck every Friday via direct deposit.


• Trailer: 48ft Reefer (hazardous liquids, no-touch freight, live loads).


• Routes: Midwest, East Coast, and South.


• Trucks: 2024–2026 Volvo, Kenworth, Freightliner, or Peterbilt (with fridge, microwave, inverter).

Requirements:
