Job summary

Lion Freight Systems Inc is seeking experienced CDL-A tanker/Hazmat drivers for Midwest, East Coast and South routes. This position is a 1099 contractor role with home time of 2–3 weeks on the road and 2–3 days off, truck home. Earnings are $2,200–$2,400 weekly based on mileage, with detainment, layover, and extra stops pay and safety bonuses.

Expect Friday direct deposit, 48ft reefer, modern trucks. All miles are paid (empty and loaded). Location is Chicago-based; flight and drug test paid.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A with medical card.
• Minimum 2 years verifiable CDL-A experience.
• Hazardous materials endorsement (X) required.

Responsibilities

• Operate 48 ft reefer equipment hauling hazardous liquids.
• Load and unload responsibilities as needed with live loads.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with dispatch for route planning and stops.

Job Details:

• Pay: $0.80/mile (all miles paid – empty & loaded)


• WeeklyEarnings: $2,200–$2,400 based on mileage.


• Additional Pay: Detention, layover, and extra stops.


• Bonuses: Safety bonuses & cash advances available.


• Position: 1099 contractor.


• Location: Chicago-based (flight & drug test paid).


• Home Time: 2-3 weeks on the road, 2-3 days off (take the truck home).


• Pay Schedule: Monday to Monday, paycheck every Friday via direct deposit.


• Trailer: 48ft Reefer (hazardous liquids, no-touch freight, live loads).


• Routes: Midwest, East Coast, and South.


• Trucks: 2024–2026 Volvo, Kenworth, Freightliner, or Peterbilt (with fridge, microwave, inverter).

Requirements:
