Job summary

Oakley Transport Inc. is seeking a Tank Wash Technician to maintain a safe, efficient washing process for cargo tanks. The role requires verbal communication, basic computer skills, and the ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.

You will follow the Tank Wash Supervisor's directions, adhere to JPA guidelines, coordinate tasks with teammates, and keep the wash area clean and compliant with laws and policies. This on-site position in Florida offers an essential role in our operations.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate verbally.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Ability to read tank wash schedule.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning of cargo tanks interior and exterior following organizational procedures.
• Follow the directions of the Tank Wash Supervisor.
• Follow the JPA guidelines on tank wash procedures.
• Coordinate specific work tasks with other personnel within the unit or department as well as with other units and departments in order to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of information.
• Abides by the current laws and organizational policies and procedures designed and implemented to promote an environment which is free of sexual harassment and other forms of illegal discriminatory behavior in the workplace.
• Ability to operate yard vehicles around the yard in a safe manner. Maintain a clean tank wash area per JPA standards.
• Maintain proper storage of cleaning apparatus.
• Must be able to adapt to changes in the policies and procedures whenever Federal State and local laws require.
