Job summary

Reasors Food Stores in Traverse City, MI is seeking a Regular Full Time Petroleum Ops driver to deliver fuel oil, kerosene and related products to residential and commercial customers, operating a tank wagon safely and in accordance with regulations.

You must have a High School diploma or GED, a Class B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements, and be able to pass an annual physical, drug tests, and maintain logs. Local routes with safety-first driving.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with driver training certification.
• CDL Class B with hazmat and tanker endorsements required.
• Annual physical and drug/alcohol testing as per policy.
• HazMat training in accordance with EPA/MDEQ regulations.
• Basic math for rate, ratio and percentage calculations.
• Strong communication and ability to interact with customers.

Responsibilities

• Deliver fuel oil and similar products safely to customers by driving a tank wagon and loading per dispatch.
• Perform daily vehicle checks, maintain lines and prevent cross contamination.
• Maintain daily manifests, trip logs and other required records for dispatch.
• Report spills or hazards immediately to supervisor and Hazmat line.
• Provide courteous customer service and identify sales opportunities.
