Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of experience building or repairing diesel, gas, or hydraulic equipment using hand, electric, and pneumatic tools.
• Willingness to pass pre-employment physical and drug-screen.

Responsibilities

• Read job orders to determine work to be performed per customer request or supervisor direction.
• Replace failing parts to restore proper functioning of equipment.
• Install additional parts to existing units to upgrade or enhance functioning and/or efficiency.
• Repair malfunctioning parts, including welding and fabricating components.
• Perform tests required by Department of Transportation (D.O.T.) on petroleum tanks and chassis.
• Diagnose structural and operational problems with tanks and chassis to identify repairs.
