Job summary

Ideal Ready Mix Co Inc is hiring a Tanker Driver to safely transport liquid materials to job sites in Ottumwa, IA. This full-time seasonal role offers a base pay of $24.50–$27.00 per hour and requires a Class A CDL with air brakes.

You will operate tanker trucks per DOT rules, conduct pre/post-trip inspections, load/unload liquids, and maintain logs and communications with dispatch. Evening and weekend shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old.
• Valid class A CDL with air brakes.
• Willing to travel and work nights/weekends as needed.
• OTR or flatbed experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate tanker trucks in compliance with DOT and company safety policies.
• Perform pre and post-trip inspections.
• Load/unload liquid materials safely.
• Complete required logs and paperwork.
• Communicate with dispatch and team members.
