Job summary
Depot Connect International (DCI) is hiring a Trailer Mechanic in Charlotte, NC. 2+ years of mechanical or tank trailer repair experience is required. The role offers weekdays, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with pay ranging from $19.00 to $36.00 per hour based on experience.
Responsibilities include diagnosing failures, tank service/repair, suspension work, air brake systems, and optional TIG welding. DOT HM183/hazmat standards inspection is expected. Benefits are provided by DCI.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of mechanical and/or tank trailer repair experience.
- Experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical/electrical systems on tank trailers.
- Ability to work on tank trailers to DOT HM183/hazmat standards.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose failures and perform repairs on mechanical, electrical, or other systems on a tank trailer.
- Perform tank service and repair tasks.
- Install/repair trailer suspension components.
- Work on air brake systems and related components.
- Optional TIG welding on aluminum, stainless, or carbon steel.
- Inspect tanks and trailers to meet DOT HM183 and hazmat standards.
