Job summary

Koninklijke Vopak N.V. is seeking an Operator to support loading and unloading activities at our terminal. You will manage tank lineups, operate valves, and monitor gauges while ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to safety and environmental rules.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, English proficiency, and a valid driver’s license. Ideal candidates have terminal operations experience and basic computer skills for daily reporting.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Experience in terminal operations preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• English proficiency (reading/writing/speaking) essential.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload railroad tank cars, trucks, ships, and barges.
• Ensure correct tank lineup for receipts and deliveries; operate valves and gauges.
• Review operation orders for errors and document activities.
• Adhere to OSHA, Coast Guard, and environmental guidelines; respond to emergencies.
• Perform simple maintenance and housekeeping; keep work areas clean.
• Participate in safety and operational training programs.
