Job summary

Job description

Primary Purpose

Responsible for the safe and efficient operations and maintenance of equipment within the assigned crude oil tank farm.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Surveillance, operations and maintenance of crude oil facilities including tanks, pumps, and valves.
  • Follow all EHS procedures and practices.
  • Identify safety hazards.
  • Maintain good standing with all required training.
  • Participate in pipeline public awareness programs and emergency drills.
  • Respond to emergencies such as spills, outages, power failures, etc.
  • Launch and receive pipeline scraper pigs.
  • Maintain, repair, and operate valves and pumps.
  • Assist with regulatory audits.
  • Regular and predictable attendance.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience / Specific Knowledge

Must have completed at least one (1) year at Pipeline Operator/Tank Farm operator or industry equivalent.

Certifications and Licenses
  • Maintain a satisfactory driving record as determined by the company and a current, valid State driver’s license.
  • Subject to random drug testing.
  • Must pass applicable OQ tasks as required.

  • Follow work procedures independently on less routine tasks or more complex equipment/processes.
