Veolia North America, a leader in environmental services, is seeking a Hazardous Waste Technician in Port Arthur, TX. You will sample inbound and outbound tankers, unload hazardous waste, and ensure proper routing under regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities include maintaining tank logs, transferring materials between tanks and railcars, and keeping a clean, safe work area. OSHA HAZWOPER certification is required or pursued, with a strong team orientation and good communication skills.

Responsible for sampling and unloading of inbound bulk/liquid tankers/rail cars and routing of hazardous waste to appropriate destination in accordance with regulatory requirements and company policies to insure that end product meets the specifications for disposal in an efficient and effective manner.
