Job summary

Pilot Company in California is seeking a Facilities Maintenance professional to repair and prepare fuel and lubricant tanks and support installations. You will operate company vehicles up to 26,000 lbs GVWR, interface with customers, and follow strict safety procedures in daily duties.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a California driver’s license, and a TWIC; basic plumbing/mechanical/electrical repair knowledge is advantageous.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Must hold a California driver’s license and TWIC credential.
  • Basic understanding of plumbing, mechanical and electrical repair.
  • Courteous to customers and staff; strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Repair & prep of fuel and lubricants tanks and related installations.
  • Operate company vehicles up to 26,000 lbs GVWR in line with regulations.
  • Interface effectively with customers and maintain safety procedures.
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and report defects.
  • Work with minimal supervision and take ownership of tasks.
  • Clean, paint and prep tanks for fuel and lubricants.
  • Handle additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
