Job summary

Tradebe Environmental Services is seeking a Tank Cleaning Operator to join our Field Services team. This hands-on role covers tank cleaning, remediation, and support for refinery and chemical plant operations, with travel across the United States.

You will operate and maintain specialized equipment, perform decontamination work, and participate in safety analyses. Overnight travel earns a $65 per diem, and the position is full-time with overtime pay after 40 hours.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• 1+ year decontaminating equipment and cleaning above-ground tanks at refineries.
• 2+ years operating tank cleaning and processing equipment (centrifuges, filter presses, decanters, robots, dredging units).
• Must complete 40-hour HAZWOPER training and obtain TWIC card.
• Physically able to perform demanding work and travel extensively while wearing PPE.

Responsibilities

• Process materials from tanks or lagoons and support tank cleaning operations.
• Operate, rig up/down, and maintain tank cleaning and separation equipment.
• Perform cleaning, decontamination, and remediation activities on tanks and equipment.
• Conduct Job Safety Analyses (JSA) and job audits to ensure safe work practices.
• Respond to emergency situations as required on-site.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Do you have what it takes?

• Valid driver’s license required.
• 1+ year of experience decontaminating equipment and cleaning above-ground tanks at refineries
• 2+ years of experience operating tank cleaning and processing equipment (e.g., centrifuges, filter presses, decanters, robots, dredging units)
• Ability to complete 40-hour HAZWOPER training and obtain TWIC card and required security clearances
• Physically able to perform demanding work while wearing PPE, including respirators, and able to travel extensively
