Job summary

CST Industries, Inc. seeks a CAD Drafter to execute general arrangement and manufacturing drawings for tanks and related equipment using AutoCAD. Responsibilities include processing orders, preparing customer-approval drawings, and supporting various drafting and design projects.

The role emphasizes standardizing drafting workflows, improving efficiency, and applying lean methodologies while collaborating with Engineering IT and other teams. Minimal travel is required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Aided Design preferred.
• Solid modeling experience preferred (1+ year).
• AutoCAD experience required (1+ year).
• Drafting automation experience a plus.
• Experience with tanks design/drafting a plus.
• Minimal travel.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, self-directed environment.
• High proficiency with MS Office & email.

Responsibilities

• Daily processing of orders and customer approval drawings.
• Drafting and design projects for tanks and equipment.
• Standardizing and improving drafting workflow and processes.
• Track and improve personal drafting metrics for efficiency and accuracy.
• Apply lean methodologies to improve throughput.
• Assist with development projects.
• Collaborate with Engineering IT to automate processes.
