Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Hold a valid Driver's License.
• Extensive hands-on experience with barges, familiarity with pumps, compressors, gauges, and tanks.
• Possess a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC).
• Must be able to pass CBC Barge Readiness Course.
• Basic computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Inspect tank barges before/after cargo operations.
• Verify barge cleanliness prior to leaving the facility.
• Inspect and verify barge equipment and hull condition.
• Read and understand barge documents.
• Maintain a safe, clean working environment and comply with safety policies.
• Travel to multiple locations as needed.
