Job summary

CACI International seeks a Tanium Engineer to support the DoD Air Force Enterprise IT as a Service (EITaaS). You will administer Tanium platforms, configure endpoints, and drive upgrades across a national-scale environment to enhance security and reliability.

The role requires a DoD Secret clearance, strong scripting (Python/PowerShell), and expertise across Tanium core modules. Up to 10% travel within CONUS may be required.

Qualifications

• CompTIA Security+ or DoD 8570 Baseline at IAT Level II or higher.
• 10+ years of relevant experience; degree may substitute for 5 years.
• Active DoD secret clearance.
• Proficiency in Tanium platform and core/add-on modules.
• Strong scripting abilities (Python, PowerShell, Shell).
• Solid Windows and Linux OS knowledge.
• Understanding of network protocols and security concepts.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, complex environments.

Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, and maintain Tanium platform and endpoint agents.
• Plan, execute, and manage upgrades, patching, and maintenance.
• Monitor health, performance, and security of the environment.
• Identify and resolve infrastructure issues proactively.
• Develop reports, dashboards, and sensors for data insights.
• Support security incident response with endpoint data.
• Automate tasks and workflows to improve efficiency.
