Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a quantitative valuation analyst to build and maintain valuation models for tangible assets, using cost and market-based approaches. You will analyze large datasets in Excel and collaborate with Deals teams on financial reporting, tax, and transactions.

The role emphasizes AI-enabled workflow improvements with Power BI, ChatGPT, and Copilot, and the preparation of client-facing deliverables such as memos and interactive presentations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or quantitative field.
• At least one year of professional experience in consulting, analytics, finance, or audit.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, with attention to detail.
• Master’s degree preferred in finance, accounting, data science or analytics.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain valuation models for tangible assets using cost and market-based approaches.
• Analyze large datasets in Excel and support AI-enhanced tools to improve efficiency.
• Gain real-world insight through site visits to shape valuation expertise.
• Collaborate with Deals teams to support client needs in financial reporting, tax, and transactions.
• Research asset types, useful lives, replacement costs, and industry benchmarks.
• Prepare client-facing deliverables such as memos, valuation reports, and interactive presentations.
• Leverage Power BI, ChatGPT, and Copilot to streamline workflows and client outcomes.
• Identify opportunities to enhance team workflows and deliverables using AI tools.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, or another technical or quantitative field

Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Science, Business Analytics, Quantitative Finance, or a related technical field
