About the Role

Position Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Class B CDL Tandem Driver to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to safely operate a tandem dump truck for the loading, transportation, and delivery of asphalt and other construction materials to job sites. This position plays a critical role in supporting paving operations and ensuring timely material delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operate tandem axle dump truck to haul and deliver asphalt to and from construction sites.
2. Ensure accurate and safe loading of asphalt and other materials.
3. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safe operation.
4. Maintain compliance with all DOT and company safety regulations.
5. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, crew members, and supervisors regarding job details and delivery timing.
6. Assist with general labor or site work when required.
7. Maintain accurate delivery and vehicle maintenance logs.

Qualifications:

1. Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with clean driving record.
2. Minimum 1 year of experience operating tandem dump trucks, preferably in the asphalt or construction industry.
3. Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards.
4. Ability to operate truck in tight job site conditions.
5. Must be dependable, punctual, and a team player.
6. Familiarity with asphalt materials and paving operations.
7. Experience working on active construction sites.

Compensation for this position is $28.00 - $32.00 hourly, depending on experience.
