• Evaluate current network loads and recommend enterprise-grade switch upgrades.
• Match switch uplink and port density needs to floor-level requirements.
• Verify PoE budget capacities, thermal ratings, and fan noise levels for IDF/MDF closets.
• Configure initial switch settings, VLANs, and Layer 2/3 features using Cisco IOS/NX-OS.
