Job summary

Language Services Associates is seeking Bosnian interpreters to support LEP communities in the Chattanooga, TN area. As an Independently Contracted Interpreter, you will handle on-site assignments across various settings, delivering high-quality interpretation with confidentiality.

Requirements include full fluency in English and Bosnian, strong client-service skills, and prior interpreting experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong client service focus and confidentiality adherence.
• Industry-specific certifications (CMI, CCHI) are a plus.

As a member of LSA's network of Independently Contracted Interpreters, you will be responsible for facilitating language communication for the Limited English Proficient (LEP) community in a variety of settings. LSA is continuously accepting qualified interpreters for a wide range of interpreting assignments!

Responsibilities:

• Provide superior customer service
• Adhere to Code of Professional Conduct, including maintaining strict standards of confidentiality
• Adhere to all policies and procedures, including professional interpretation protocols and industry specific best practices
• Adhere to clearance requirements as requested by clients
• Report on site to any accepted assignments in a timely manner
• Access to personal or public transport

Qualifications/Experience:

• Full fluency in both English and Bosnian
• The ability to provide a high level of client service
• 1+ year of professional interpreting experience preferred
• Industry specific certifications/trainings preferred (CMI, CCHI, etc.)
