Smokin Fins in Twin Falls, ID seeks a friendly bartender to deliver high-quality service in a polished casual setting. You will take drink and food orders, upsell beverages, and maintain a clean, welcoming bar.

Ideal candidates are 19+, TIPS certified, able to work 10:00 am–1:00 am, handle money and POS, and thrive in a fast-paced team environment. Join a company that values hospitality and growth.

Qualifications

• Be 19 years of age.
• TIPS Certified.
• Be able to communicate and understand the predominant language(s) of our guests.
• Must be able to work unsupervised.
• Must be available to work between the hours of 10:00 am to 1:00 am
• Must have the ability to handle money and operate a POS system.
• Must be able to stand and work for up to 4 hours at a time
• Must be able to perform repetitive motion work without restraints or similar issues.
• Must be able to lift/move 50 lbs.
• Must work in temperatures exceeding 85°F for extended periods.
• Be willing to follow direction and ask questions for clarification.
• Be able to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Must possess adaptability, planning, problem solving, teamwork and multi-tasking.
• Must have above-average drink knowledge of spirits, wine and beer and how to prepare cocktails.

Responsibilities

• Quickly and efficiently deliver food/drink to tables.
• Ensure ticket times and orders are correct with modifications.
• Maintain a clean working environment.
• Demonstrate composure in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies.
• Balance bar till at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Present drink menus and answer questions regarding beverages.
• Upsell food/drinks to maximize profits.
• Educate customers on our menu concept and ingredients.
