Job summary

Lifepoint Health is seeking a strategic talent leader to design and optimize enterprise talent programs and organizational effectiveness initiatives. You will partner with senior leaders to translate business needs into scalable, data-informed solutions that strengthen leadership pipelines and enhance the employee experience.

The role is onsite in Brentwood, TN with occasional travel, and requires leading cross-functional teams and executive-level advisory skills to drive sustained

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in organizational development, human resources, business administration, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in talent management and organizational effectiveness.
  • Experience guiding enterprise talent initiatives and analytics.
  • Healthcare industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Own and evolve enterprise talent review, succession planning, career pathing, and performance management.
  • Lead design and implementation of talent and performance programs, tools, communications, reporting, and resources.
  • Facilitate talent reviews, calibration sessions, and leadership planning activities.
  • Assess bench strength, succession readiness, talent risks, and performance trends; recommend actions.
  • Develop leader and employee training materials, communications, toolkits, process guides, and resources.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition, Learning, Leadership Development, People Services, and HRIS teams.

More About Our Team

Lifepoint Health is seeking a strategic, consultative, and execution-focused professional talent to lead and continuously improve enterprise talent programs and organizational effectiveness initiatives. This role serves as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and People Services partners, translating business needs into scalable, data-informed talent solutions that strengthen leadership pipelines, improve organizational performance, and enhance the employee experience.

The job will be onsite in our Brentwood, TN office and may require occasional travel less than 25%.

How You'll Contribute
  • Own and evolve enterprise talent review, succession planning, career pathing, and performance management processes.
  • Lead the design, implementation, and continuous enhancement of talent and performance programs, tools, communications, reporting, and resources.
  • Facilitate talent reviews, calibration sessions, succession discussions, and leadership planning activities.
  • Assess bench strength, succession readiness, talent risks, and performance trends; recommend actions to address gaps and improve organizational capability.
  • Develop leader and employee training materials, communications, toolkits, process guides, and resources that support adoption and consistency.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition, Learning, Leadership Development, People Services, and HRIS teams to drive adoption, effectiveness, and continuous improvement.
Employee Engagement & Experience
  • Lead enterprise employee engagement and culture survey administration, reporting, communications, action planning, and follow-through.
  • Analyze engagement, retention, workforce, and organizational health data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Consult with leaders on organizational effectiveness, team effectiveness, culture, organizational design, workforce capability, and leadership effectiveness initiatives.
  • Design and conduct assessments, stakeholder interviews, focus groups, workshops, and development interventions that address business priorities.
  • Develop practical recommendations, tools, and resources that improve employee experience, retention, team effectiveness, and organizational performance.
Executive Consulting & Strategic Partnership
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior executives, division leaders, and People Services stakeholders on talent strategy, organizational health, workforce capability, and leadership effectiveness.
  • Facilitate executive-level discussions, succession reviews, organizational assessments, and strategic planning sessions.
  • Translate business priorities into actionable talent strategies, recommendations, communications, and implementation plans.
  • Build alignment, influence decisions, and navigate sensitive organizational topics with professionalism and discretion.
Strategic Initiatives, Analytics & Technology
  • Lead enterprise-wide talent and organizational development initiatives from concept through implementation, adoption, measurement, and sustainment.
  • Develop business cases, executive presentations, dashboards, scorecards, reports, and recommendations that inform decision-making.
  • Use workforce, engagement, performance, and succession data to identify risks, evaluate program effectiveness, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Leverage technology, automation, and artificial intelligence tools to improve productivity, reporting, and talent processes.
  • Manage project plans, timelines, stakeholder alignment, risks, dependencies, and deliverables across cross-functional teams.

What We're Looking For

Applicants should possess a bachelor's degree in organizational development, human resources, business administration, industrial/organizational psychology, communications or a related field.

Additional Requirements Include
  • 5-7 years of progressively responsible experience in talent management, organizational development, organizational effectiveness, leadership development, employee engagement, performance management, succession planning, human resources, consulting, or a related discipline required.
  • Demonstrated experience leading enterprise talent initiatives, consulting with senior leaders, facilitating leadership discussions, designing talent programs, leading cross-functional initiatives, and utilizing workforce analytics to influence decisions.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or related field preferred.
  • Experience in a large, complex, matrixed organization.
  • Experience leading enterprise talent processes, executive facilitation, organizational change, and strategic workforce initiatives.
  • Experience utilizing AI-enabled tools & Oracle HCM solutions.
  • Healthcare industry experience preferred.
  • SHRM, SPHR, CPTD, PMP, or similar certification preferred
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Strong expertise in talent management, succession planning, performance management, leadership development, employee engagement, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Demonstrated consulting, facilitation, stakeholder-management, and executive influence skills.
  • Strong analytical, business acumen, project management, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, Teams, and collaboration technologies.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-management skills with the ability to balance strategy and execution.
