Job summary

Modal is building a new talent infrastructure and is hiring a Talent Programs Manager to own events, the intern program, and campus presence. You’ll collaborate with recruiting, hiring managers, and marketing to ensure programs drive real hires and strong candidate experiences.

You will lead end-to-end programs, manage budgets and vendors, and partner with universities and bootcamps to pipeline top talent while maintaining fast, high-quality delivery.

Qualifications

• 3+ years running recruiting/talent programs with end-to-end ownership.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration with recruiting, hiring managers, and marketing.
• Based in NYC or willing to relocate, in-office.

Responsibilities

• Own Modal's talent events strategy; meetups, networking events, and talks from concept to follow-up.
• Design and run the intern program end to end: timeline, project scope with hiring managers, mentorship, and conversion.
• Represent Modal at career fairs and campus events; recruit and prep employee brand ambassadors.
• Build relationships with university programs, bootcamps, and communities feeding the pipeline.
• Manage program budgets and vendor relationships (venues, swag, catering, platforms).
• Track and report on program metrics: pipeline conversion, cost per hire, intern conversion rate.
• Move quickly while maintaining high candidate/intern experience.
