Talent Ready Utah, within the Office of the Commissioner of Higher Education (OCHE), is seeking a part-time intern for the spring semester to support work-based learning initiatives. This temporary position will focus on event coordination, program sustainment, and stakeholder engagement across Utah’s pathway programs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Currently enrolled in a Utah institution of higher education.
• Strong analytical and research skills with ability to present clearly and concisely.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace; Canva knowledge preferred.

Responsabilités

• Plan and execute pathway events including graduations, recruitment nights, job fairs, and enrollment events.
• Manage event logistics such as venue coordination, registration, marketing materials, and day‑of support.
• Coordinate with pathway partners to ensure consistent messaging, participation, and representation at events.
• Draft event announcements and partner spotlights, and content for social media.
• Track program activities, partner updates, and outcomes to support reporting.
• Attend working committees and support meetings with education and industry partners.
• Maintain communication among K12, higher education, and employer partners.
• Support statewide pathway programs (UDTP, URP, UAP, Tech Sales, UAEC, Utah Healthcare Academy).
• Assist with tracking participation data and outcomes across programs.
• Align communications and reporting templates across programs.
