Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail and people-oriented Talent Program Specialist to join our team. As a Talent Program Specialist, you will be responsible for administrative support overseeing and implementing People projects and programs impacting our employees. This role will work closely with various People Leaders to support employees throughout the employee lifecycle including, but not limited to, employee engagement, rewards and recognition, performance management, and providing additional support on company programs and initiatives.

Essential Job Functions will include:

  • Provide support in the planning, coordination and implementation of People programs and the tasks associated with each program.
  • Assist in developing thorough timelines for People Team projects/programs and manage accordingly to meet established deadlines.
  • Provide administrative support in the following People Programs, responsibilities including:
    • Employee Engagement
      • Help in launching annual employee engagement survey and measuring results.
      • Coordination of follow-up actions stemming from results.
      • Support deliverables to promote an engaged workforce including action planning, webinars, and creation of resources for employees.
    • Rewards and Recognition
      • Track and support employee anniversary milestones.
      • Contribute to enhancing annual achievement awards and peer recognition program.
      • Manage additional recognition initiatives as needed.
    • Performance Management and Compensation Planning
      • Collaborate with HRIS team members on system management.
      • Assist with reporting requests to support performance metrics needed for bi-annual review cycles.
      • Communicate with employees to ensure performance reviews are completed and finalized.
    • Review processes and implement enhancements to improve the operations within the People Team to support the overall service provided to employees. Update document processes for training and business continuity.
    • Assist with employee communication and presentation creation related to HR program updates and reminders.
    • Help design and create standard and ad hoc reports.
    • Respond to employee’s requests submitted to the People Team Service Portal and via email correspondence to resolve/escalate issues in a timely and professional manner utilizing the company Employee Handbook as a resource
    • Establish partnerships across the business to help provide service and support to the organization.
    • Supporting People Team members on tasks and projects as assigned.
    • Willingness to contribute to all People Team initiatives for overall enhanced employee experience with a focus of providing a best place to work.
    • Other duties or tasks as assigned by leadership.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred; HS diploma required
  • 2-3 years of proven experience in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of MS Suite (Outlook, SharePoint, Excel, Word, etc.)
  • Prior experience with an HRIS system
  • Solid problem-solving skills and critical thinking skills on business impact
  • Strong foundational knowledge of HR employment laws and regulations
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Independent contributor with a collaborative approach to business; ability to work within a team
  • Experience in a fast-paced work environment with changing demands that require a calm and professional demeanor with our “clients” (employees and vendors);
  • Ability to approach every situation with a service mindset
  • Strong time management skills, organization skills, and ability to adjust to evolving business needs
  • Ability to handle confidential matters and maintain employee privacy

Work Schedule:

This professional role requires availability during standard business hours of Monday through Friday from 8AM to 5PM. At times, the role may have early or late hours to meet business tasks and deadlines for external and internal client needs. Since this role is classified as a non-exempt position, you are required to record your time into the timekeeping system daily at the start and end of each workday plus a 30-minute unpaid lunch period.

Working Conditions:

This position may be in a professional office environment or a dedicated home office workspace which is free of interruptions. Whether position is in a dedicated office space or home office workspace, basic technology needs will be provided to satisfy position requirements. Routinely sitting and standing for periods of time. No heavy lifting over 10 lbs.
