The Role

As a Talent Manager, you’ll go beyond matching résumés to job descriptions. You’ll serve as a trusted advisor—collaborating with Account Executives to understand client needs, guiding consultants through proposal creation, and ensuring alignment between skills, goals, and project expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with Account Executives to understand client projects and co-develop recruiting strategies
  • Engage with consultants as true partners—building long-term relationships, not just placements
  • Vet consultants for technical skills and consulting mindset
  • Maintain a deep understanding of client preferences, project trends, and industry shifts
  • Act as a strategic matchmaker—ensuring mutual value for client and consultant
  • Contribute to a collaborative team environment where insights and feedback are shared

  • Consultants feel supported, informed, and aligned to projects that fit their strengths

Qualifications

  • 7+ years in recruiting, talent acquisition, or a similar role (consulting industry preferred)
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and strategic thinking skills
  • Comfort working cross-functionally with sales, and operations
  • Genuine curiosity and a high EQ—you listen actively, pick up on unspoken cues, adapt your approach, and build trust through empathy and strong communication.
  • Experience recruiting in the learning and development (L&D) industry preferred

Location: Virtual

The salary range for this opportunity is $65,000.00 to $75,000.00 per year. In addition to the base salary, Talent Managers are eligible to earn commissions based on individual performance. Individual pay is determined by a number of factors, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, relevant education, certifications and specific work location.
