Job description

Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. Millions of companies—from the world’s largest enterprises to the most ambitious startups—use Stripe to accept payments, grow their revenue, and accelerate new business opportunities. Our mission is to increase the GDP of the internet, and we have a staggering amount of work ahead. That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy within everyone’s reach while doing the most important work of your career.

About the team

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Program Manager to join the Talent Management team and take ownership of designing, building, and delivering talent management programs that help us enable and cultivate our talent. You will play a critical role in shaping our performance strategy and driving initiatives to attract, develop, and retain exceptional talent across the organization. You will be instrumental in enhancing and executing our performance management processes. You'll work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure that the performance review process is aligned with our business objectives and company values.

What you’ll do
Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement best practices for performance assessment and feedback.
  • Continuously analyze existing processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and employee experience.
  • Partner closely with People team peers and leaders across the company to support the effective development, launch, and scaling of our programs, ensuring tight alignment across programs and initiatives.
Who you are

We’re looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. If you meet these requirements, you are encouraged to apply. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.

  • Proven experience (4+ years) in program management, talent management, or organizational development, preferably in a complex and fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of performance management processes.
  • Exceptional project management skills with the ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities, with a track record of driving innovative solutions in performance management.
Preferred qualifications
  • Experience translating performance programs into intuitive, user-centric tooling.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance data and derive actionable insights.
  • Demonstrated experience designing and implementing large-scale programs, with particular focus on change management and communications

Join our dynamic team and make a significant impact on our People strategy. Help shape the future of our organization by designing and delivering best-in-class talent programs.

Note: This job description is intended to provide a general guide to the duties and responsibilities of the role and may be subject to change based on organizational needs and priorities.

Office-assigned Stripes spend at least 50% of the time in a given month in their local office or with users. This hits a balance between bringing people together for in-person collaboration and learning from each other, while supporting flexibility about how to do this in a way that makes sense for individuals and their teams.

The annual US base salary range for this role is $140,000 - $210,000. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Stripe and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and location. Applicants interested in this role and who are not located in the US may request the annual salary range for their location during the interview process.

Additional benefits for this role may include: equity, company bonus or sales commissions/bonuses; 401(k) plan; medical, dental, and vision benefits; and wellness stipends.
