Talent Management Program Analyst

W2 contract to hire, min 6 months. Hybrid out of Auburn Hills, MI.

The Talent Management (TM) Program Analyst plays a strategic role in designing, implementing, and managing enterprise talent management programs that support organizational effectiveness, employee development, succession planning, performance management, and leadership development initiatives. This position partners closely with Human Resources, business leaders, Learning & Development, and executive stakeholders to drive talent strategies that enhance employee engagement, strengthen leadership pipelines, and ensure organizational readiness for future workforce needs. The Talent Management Program Manager is responsible for program governance, stakeholder management, data analysis, and continuous improvement of talent processes and programs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and manage enterprise-wide TM, including succession planning, performance management, leadership development, and talent review processes.
  • Partner with business leaders and Human Resources teams to identify talent needs, workforce risks, and development opportunities aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Facilitate annual talent review and succession planning cycles, ensuring consistency, effectiveness, and leadership accountability.
  • Develop and maintain TM frameworks, tools, resources, and processes that support employee growth and organizational capability building.
  • Analyze talent data, workforce metrics, and organizational trends to provide actionable insights and recommendations to leadership.
  • Develop dashboards and reports related to TM, succession bench strength, high-potential talent, performance outcomes, retention, and leadership readiness.
  • Collaborate with Learning Development & Training partners to identify skill gaps and support the creation of targeted development solutions.
  • Lead TM projects and change management initiatives to improve employee experience and organizational effectiveness.
  • Establish program success measures, monitor outcomes, and recommend continuous improvements based on business needs and data analysis.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on TM practices, industry trends, and organizational development strategies.
  • Partner with HR Technology teams to optimize TM systems and reporting capabilities.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable employment regulations related to TM programs.
  • Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Competencies Required
Required Experience
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in talent management, organizational development, human resources, leadership development, workforce planning, program management, or related disciplines.
  • Experience designing and administering TM programs across multiple business functions.
  • Demonstrated experience partnering with senior leaders and HR teams to develop and execute talent strategies.
Education
  • High school diploma and/or GED.
Skills Required
  • Strong knowledge of TM principles, succession planning, performance management, and leadership development practices.
  • Experience managing complex programs and cross-functional projects.
  • Ability to analyze workforce and talent-related data and translate findings into business recommendations.
  • Strong presentation, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence leaders and drive organizational change.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with HRIS, talent management, performance management, and reporting systems.
Qualifications Preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or related field; or equivalent of work experience and certification.
  • Professional certifications such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR, CPLP, or equivalent preferred.
