Job summary

Smartsheet seeks a Talent Development Partner to own onboarding and career development programs, shaping the employee experience from day one through growth. You’ll design a comprehensive onboarding and build tools like IDP templates and development pathways, partnering across the business to embed culture.

You will report to the Director of Talent Management in the Bellevue office, shaping a scalable, enterprise-wide program with live sessions, workshops, and data-driven improvements.

We are looking for a Talent Development Partner to own Smartsheet's onboarding and career development programs: one connected arc that shapes the employee experience from day one through years of growth here. You'll reimagine a comprehensive onboarding program that welcomes new hires and equips them with the cultural and organizational knowledge to succeed from the start. This role is also responsible for Smartsheet's career development story, building tools like IDP templates, development pathways, and career development courses that help employees see and build a meaningful future at Smartsheet. Throughout, you'll partner closely across the business to make sure our culture is felt in every corner of the company.

You will report to the Director of Talent Management. This role is based in our Bellevue office.

You Will

• Design and launch a comprehensive onboarding program that welcomes new hires and equips them with the cultural and organizational knowledge to succeed from day one, fostering genuine connection and community from the start in our global, distributed company.
• Own and continuously evolve onboarding as a living program, using data (onboarding survey results, time-to-productivity, and other signals) to identify what's working and iterate accordingly.
• Build Smartsheet's career development story through consistent and scalable programming, surfacing IDP templates, development pathways, and career development courses.
• Facilitate live sessions and workshops across Talent Development programs serving as a trusted facilitator for the broader team
• Partner broadly across the business to ensure onboarding, career development, and connected programs stay aligned with business needs company-wide.

You Have

• 5+ years in talent development, organizational development, or HR program design, with experience launching enterprise-wide programs from the ground up
• Experience designing and delivering onboarding programs at an enterprise level
• Experience building career development frameworks (IDPs, career pathways, related coursework) for a full organization
• Comfort managing a phased roadmap, shifting focus as one program mutes and the next begins

Smartsheet provides a competitive base salary range for roles that may be hired in different geographic areas we are licensed to operate our business from. Actual compensation is determined by several factors including, but not limited to, level of professional, educational experience, skills, and specific candidate location. In addition, this role will be eligible for a market competitive incentive opportunity.

US Base Salary Pay Range

$95,000—$115,000 USD
