Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Two to four years of professional experience preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and data management systems.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and manage time effectively.
• Public speaking experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participate in outreach to build a diverse applicant pool.
• Assist participants with detailed job search plans.
• Answer calls from potential job seekers.
• Assist with resumes, cover letters, interviewing, and job placement.
• Refer job seekers to Michigan Works! resources.
• Develop relationships with community referral sources.
• May perform job retention and follow-up services.
• Coordinate training programs, internships, or apprenticeships.
