The Talent Acquisition Specialist will develop and execute strategic recruiting initiatives to attract, engage, and hire a diverse pool of qualified talent aligned with the organization’s workforce needs and long-term goals. This role partners with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, build talent pipelines, enhance employer branding, and deliver an exceptional candidate experience throughout the hiring process. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will utilize effective sourcing strategies, market research, and relationship‑building techniques to identify top talent while supporting organizational growth and workforce planning initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all phases of the recruitment and hiring process.
• Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and hiring criteria.
• Develop and implement effective sourcing and recruiting strategies to attract qualified candidates.
• Manage job postings, candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selection processes.
• Coordinate and participate in interviews with managers, directors, and key stakeholders.
• Support the offer process, including compensation recommendations, start dates, and onboarding coordination.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
• Represent the company at college career fairs, recruiting events, and community outreach opportunities.
• Build relationships with local schools, technical colleges, and universities to support workforce development initiatives.
• Oversee internship and apprenticeship programs.
• Manage pre‑employment processes and external recruiting vendor relationships.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, related field, or equivalent work experience, required.
• 3‑5 years of Human Resources or Recruiting experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in accounting software, Microsoft Office, on computers and other electronic devices.
• Strong interpersonal skills; must be a self‑starter, highly organized, and creative.
• Superior time management and organizational capabilities, including the ability to accurately benchmark project length, deliver on deadlines.
