Job summary

RISE Association Management Group is seeking a dynamic Talent and Development Coordinator to grow our staff capabilities. You will design and deliver training, develop materials, and produce training videos with support from the Marketing Manager.

The role focuses on empowering Community Association Managers and staff to lead clients successfully. You will manage programs, assess learning outcomes, and partner with leaders to align training with organizational goals.

Qualifications

  • At least two years of experience in Training and Development, Association Management, Project Management, Finance, or a related field.
  • Ability to design engaging training materials and deliver sessions.
  • Strong organizational skills with a focus on accuracy and follow-through.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and implement comprehensive staff training programs, including orientation and ongoing development.
  • Collaborate with department heads to identify training needs and priorities.
  • Design manuals, presentations, online courses, and resources customized to roles.
  • Deliver in-person and virtual sessions and evaluate effectiveness via assessments and feedback.
  • Manage the LMS, enroll staff, track progress, and report training metrics.
  • Engage external providers to supplement internal programs when needed.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and service excellence.

Job Description

We are actively seeking a dynamic and driven Talent and Development Coordinator to join our growing team. As a Talent and Development Coordinator with RISE Association Management Group, you'll support the growth and success of our Community Association Managers and staff by coordinating, developing, and delivering training programs that help them lead their clients to success. You will develop training materials and, with the help of our Marketing Manager, produce training videos. This role is accountable to our internal clients to deliver the "RISE Difference" and supports our teams of managers in delivering excellent service. You'll need to be an organized, engaging communicator capable of fostering strong relationships, solving problems creatively, and maintaining a strong culture of service and accountability. This position requires project management and communication skills, along with an interest in learning financials, property management, and community association management fundamentals. This role also requires a "find a way" mentality, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with many competing priorities.

Core Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Coordinate and implement comprehensive training programs for staff, including orientation for new employees and ongoing professional development for existing staff members.
  • Collaborate with department heads and senior management to identify training needs and priorities based on organizational goals and objectives.
  • Design training materials, including presentations, manuals, online courses, and other resources, tailored to the specific roles and responsibilities within the company.
  • Conduct training sessions both in person and virtually, ensuring that content is engaging, informative, and interactive.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, surveys, and feedback mechanisms, and make adjustments as needed to improve outcomes.
  • Coordinate with external training providers, consultants, and industry experts to supplement internal training initiatives and bring in specialized expertise when necessary.
  • Manage the learning management system (LMS), overseeing course enrollment, tracking employee progress, and generating reports on training metrics.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and growth within the organization, promoting the importance of ongoing education and skill development for individual and collective success.
  • Assist in the onboarding process for new association staff, providing training and resources to board members and volunteers on their roles, responsibilities, and best practices.
  • Act as a liaison between the company and industry associations, attending conferences, workshops, and networking events to stay connected with peers and leverage external resources for training purposes.
  • Monitor compliance with training requirements mandated by regulatory agencies or industry certifications, ensuring that staff members maintain necessary credentials and qualifications.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships.
  • Always provide five-star customer service by responding to all calls and messages within a twenty-four (24) hour period.
  • Support staff training on resident portals, property inspections, financial reporting, leadership, Board and committee relations, and contracts.

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Experience

  • Proficient in digesting complex materials, such as the Texas Property Code, and translating them into easily understandable content.
  • Experience in teaching, mentoring, or training is highly desirable.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with HOA or community association management is a plus.
  • General understanding of basic accounting principles.
  • Strong Excel knowledge; knowledge of other Microsoft Office products (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.) at a proficient level; strong computer skills.
  • Professional communication skills (phone, interpersonal, written, verbal, etc.).
  • A minimum of two years of experience in one or more of the following:
  • Training and Development
  • Association Management
  • Project Management
  • Finance
  • Or a similar related field
