As a Talent Advisor, you will serve as a trusted recruitment consultant to senior provider recruitment leaders. Your expertise will help drive process improvements, enhance recruitment practices, optimize candidate sourcing strategies, and elevate the overall recruitment experience. You’ll also lead and contribute to special projects that support departmental goals and key performance indicators (KPIs), all aligned with SSM Health’s hiring objectives.

Job Summary:

Provides recruitment consulting services and counsel for senior provider recruitment leaders in support of process efficiencies, recruitment practices, candidate sourcing, recruitment experience, and other special projects designed to achieve department key performance indicators (KPIs) in alignment with hiring goals.

Job Responsibilities and Requirements:

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provides expert advice and guidance to support significant projects as provided by senior provider recruitment leaders. May lead assigned programs or searches including medical director or physician leadership roles.
  • Oversees and ensures effective and efficient recruitment performance of system-wide recruitment services by working collaboratively with senior provider recruitment leaders.
  • Contributes a knowledge and understanding of effective recruitment practices, recruitment of foreign-trained physicians, provider recruitment trends, maximizing career fair/provider event engagement, and emerging developments from physician/advanced practice provider recruitment and graduate medical education (GME).
  • Develops presentations on market trends and analysis to translate into applicable potential recruitment solutions.
  • Researches and collects external industry recruitment data to compare internal performance efficiencies. Audits internal search portfolios and activity key performance indicators (KPIs) for recommended solutions.
  • Develops and sustains relationships with industry partners and internal stakeholders for recruitment expertise and partner accountability.
  • Leads various provider focus group sessions designed to evolve recruitment’s understanding of benefits, incentives, and compensation trends.
  • Develops and revises training manuals/standard operating procedures (SOPs) and assets for provider recruitment.
  • Performs individual contributor searches as assigned.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience and education
  • Seven years' direct recruitment or relevant work experience with two years’ experience sourcing or recruiting in healthcare
Physical Requirements:
  • Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.
  • Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.
  • Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors.
  • Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.
  • Frequent keyboard use/data entry.
  • Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting and gripping.
  • Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.
  • Rare climbing.
