Role Summary

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you’ll help grow Revamp’s high-performing, mission-driven team. You’ll manage full-cycle recruiting for technical and non-technical positions, with a strong focus on engineering and renewable energy disciplines, and partner closely with hiring managers to deliver a collaborative, relationship-driven recruiting experience. Success in this role calls for a proactive sourcing mindset, strong business acumen, and the ability to identify and engage top talent for highly specialized technical roles in competitive markets. You’ll represent Revamp’s values of Impact, Collaboration, Trust, and Equity at each stage of hiring, giving candidates an inclusive and exceptional experience while helping Revamp advance its mission in the energy transition. Candidates may be considered at either the Specialist II or Specialist III level depending on experience, technical depth, independence, and demonstrated ability to lead scope.

Duties & Responsibilities

Across both levels, this role may include:

Core Technical & Functional Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting for technical and non-technical roles, including job scoping, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer negotiation.
  • Partner with hiring managers to develop recruiting strategies aligned with departmental goals and company needs.
  • Manage requisitions across multiple engineering disciplines, including civil, electrical, structural, Power Systems, EPC, and related fields.
  • Source and engage passive candidates for highly specific technical positions using Boolean logic, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other sourcing tools.
  • Conduct candidate screens to evaluate technical qualifications, experience, and alignment with Revamp’s core values of Impact, Collaboration, Trust, and Equity.
  • Track and report recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill, pipeline health, and source effectiveness.
  • Support new hire onboarding, including coordinating equipment shipments, in-person orientation events, new hire core content training, and the scheduling of 90-day new hire reviews.

Quality, Standards & Compliance

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records within the applicant tracking system (BreezyHR).
  • Apply equal employment opportunity (EEO) laws and merit-based hiring standards consistently across sourcing, screening, and selection.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Build strong relationships with hiring managers and serve as a trusted advisor throughout the recruitment process.
  • Partner with HR leadership to enhance employer branding, interview best practices, and hiring initiatives.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of recruiting processes and candidate experience.

Additional Expectations at the Specialist III Level

  • Own the most complex and hard-to-fill technical requisitions independently, seeking guidance only on unusual cases.
  • Advise hiring managers on talent market conditions and sourcing strategy for their teams.
  • Mentor junior recruiting and coordination staff and review their screening work.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Perform essential duties including meeting deliverables and deadlines.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned or directed.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or similar applicable work experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in a full-cycle recruiting role (corporate or agency); Specialist III candidates typically bring 5+ years.
  • Demonstrated experience sourcing for hard-to-fill roles using creative and data-driven strategies.
  • Working knowledge of Boolean search logic and modern sourcing tools.
  • Proven ability to develop strong, trust-based relationships with hiring managers and prospective talent.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HRIS platforms.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple requisitions at once while staying detail-oriented, data-driven, and committed to operational excellence.
  • Demonstrated experience incorporating principles of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging into outreach and candidate experience while maintaining strict adherence to all applicable EEO laws and merit-based hiring standards.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience recruiting for technical positions in engineering, construction, EPC, utilities, or architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) environments.
  • Prior exposure to the renewable energy or utility power industry.
  • Certification in employment and labor law and recruiting best practices, such as SHRM-CP, CSP, or aPHR.
Benefits for Full-Time Positions
