Job description

We are seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to support recruitment efforts across a range of programs within the cleared and Intelligence Community (IC) sectors. The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of the security-cleared recruiting landscape, including government contracting, DoD and IC environments. This role will play a critical part in sourcing, engaging, and hiring top-tier cleared professionals across technical and non-technical domains.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with hiring managers, program leaders, and HR business partners to understand and define staffing needs and build recruitment strategies accordingly.
  • Proactively source, screen, and pipeline candidates with active security clearances (TS/SCI, CI/FS polygraphs) for roles within intelligence, defense, cybersecurity, engineering, and analytical domains.
  • Manage the full-cycle recruiting process for cleared positions, including job postings, candidate screening, interview scheduling, offer negotiation, and onboarding coordination.
  • Utilize tools and platforms such as ClearedJobs.Net, ClearanceJobs, LinkedIn Recruiter, and proprietary databases to attract talent.
  • Ensure all recruitment activities comply with OFCCP, EEO, and company policies and standards for government contracting.
  • Maintain candidate data and reporting in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Build and maintain relationships with cleared professionals, government personnel, and industry contacts to foster long-term talent pipelines.
  • Represent the company at career fairs, networking events, and industry conferences relevant to the cleared/IC community.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of technical recruiting experience, with at least 3 years focused on cleared and IC talent acquisition.
  • Strong understanding of DoD/IC recruiting practices, security clearance processes, and labor market trends for the cleared workforce.
  • Expertise inactive and passive sourcing, including deep engagement with professional networks, online talent communities, and referral pipelines.
  • Experience leveragingApplicant Tracking Systems (ATS), LinkedIn Recruiter, clearance-focused job boards and recruiting compliance regulations (EEO, OFCCP, etc.).
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with shifting priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience recruiting for large-scale government contracts or proposals.
  • Prior experience working for or with government contractors supporting federal agencies (NSA, DIA, NGA, CIA, etc.).
  • Knowledge of compensation trends and market intelligence in the IC.
  • Experience recruiting for roles in IT, cybersecurity, intelligence analysis, systems engineering, logistics, mission support, and PhD level scientific research.
