Job summary

P&E Constructors is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to manage full-cycle recruitment across the company, coordinating with hiring managers to attract, evaluate, and hire high-quality talent. This role covers professional, technical, and skilled trades positions, and emphasizes candidate experience and compliance.

You will develop sourcing strategies, manage time-to-fill metrics, participate in workforce planning, and support onboarding.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred.
  • 3-5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience.
  • Experience recruiting professional, technical, and skilled trades positions within construction, industrial, engineering, energy, or related industries preferred.
  • Experience managing high-volume skilled trades recruiting in a fast-paced, project-driven environment is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with ATS platforms.
  • Strong interviewing and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting for assigned exempt and non-exempt positions; Recruit for a diverse range of positions including corporate professionals, project management, engineering, field supervision, skilled trades, craft labor, and other construction-related positions.
  • Develop sourcing strategies tailored to both professional and skilled trades recruiting, leveraging industry networks, trade organizations, apprenticeship programs, military recruiting, and workforce development partnerships.
  • Partner with hiring managers to develop recruiting strategies and hiring timelines.
  • Source candidates through multiple channels including job boards, referrals, networking, and direct outreach.
  • Screen resumes and conduct phone interviews.
  • Coordinate interviews and facilitate the hiring process.
  • Prepare and extend employment offers.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Monitor recruiting metrics including time-to-fill, source effectiveness, and candidate pipeline.
  • Build talent pipelines for recurring and difficult-to-fill positions.
  • Support employer branding initiatives and recruiting events.
  • Participate in workforce planning discussions.
  • Assist with onboarding activities as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Overview

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process for assigned positions, staff and craft, across P&E. This role partners with hiring managers to attract, evaluate, and hire high-quality talent while delivering an exceptional candidate experience. The Specialist serves as a trusted advisor on recruiting best practices, sourcing strategies, and market trends.

Requirements

Travel

Up to 25% travel is required. Travel may include visits to project sites, regional offices, career fairs, trade schools, hiring events, industry conferences, and other recruiting activities to support workforce planning and talent acquisition initiatives.

  • The market rate for the role is typically at the mid-point of the salary range; however, variations in final salary are determined by additional factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, relevant years of experience, geographic location, internal pay equity, and prevailing market conditions for the specific role.

  • Salary Range: $55,000 - $86,273
