Job summary

MDHA is seeking an onsite Talent Acquisition Specialist in Tennessee to lead full-cycle recruiting for assigned vacancies, coordinate internship programs, and represent the agency at job fairs and campus events to strengthen the employer brand and candidate pipeline.

You will partner with hiring managers, source new recruiting channels, maintain accurate applicant records, and ensure compliance with policies while building a strong candidate pipeline.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field (preferred).
• 3+ years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience.
• Experience working with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HRIS platforms.
• Proficiency in Boolean search, sourcing techniques, and search engine optimization.
• Experience with job boards, social recruiting, and digital recruiting tools.
• Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Highly desirable: internship coordination, campus recruiting, or event planning.
• Knowledge of employment laws, equal employment opportunity principles, and hiring compliance.
• Ability to analyze recruiting data and improve sourcing strategies.
• Strong presentation and networking skills for job fairs and community recruitment events.
• Experience supporting public sector, nonprofit, or mission-driven organizations.
