Job Summary: GPS seeks a motivated and detail-oriented Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Managed Staffing Program team. This flexible role offers approximately 25–32 hours per week, primarily remote, with occasional on-site meetings at our Detroit Metro office and local client locations. Compensation ranges from $15–$20 per hour, commensurate with experience.

This is an exceptional opportunity for individuals eager to launch and grow a career in recruiting, talent acquisition, or human resources. GPS provides comprehensive training and mentorship, welcoming candidates with limited or no prior recruiting experience who demonstrate the attitude, aptitude, and drive to succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support recruitment efforts by sourcing candidates through various channels, conducting initial screenings, coordinating interviews, and maintaining candidate tracking systems.
  • Manage applicant and requirement pipelines using applicant tracking systems, resume portals, and traditional recruiting tools.
  • Develop dashboards, produce insightful recruitment reports, and create process documentation to improve recruitment strategies and operational efficiency.
  • Participate in strategic initiatives aimed at continuously improving recruitment processes and enhancing candidate experience.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • A basic understanding of recruitment processes and a willingness to learn about recruiting platforms and resume portals (comprehensive training provided).
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Prior internship or entry-level experience in recruiting or talent acquisition is beneficial but not required.
