Responsibilities

• Execute full-cycle recruitment for exempt, non-exempt, temporary, and student positions.
• Facilitate intake meetings to clarify role requirements and competencies.
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies using job boards, social media, networking, and partnerships.
• Screen candidates using structured, competency-based methods.
• Coordinate interviews and guide hiring managers on best practices.
• Administer ATS for requisition management, candidate tracking, and compliance documentation.
• Generate recruitment metrics and reports to support workforce planning.
• Lead onboarding, including pre-employment checks and orientation.
• Maintain recruitment records compliant with EEO, ADA, FCRA, and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct exit interviews and support offboarding processes.
• Partner with hiring managers to improve recruitment outcomes and adherence.

Position Summary

The Talent Acquisition Specialist executes full-cycle recruitment to ensure the organization attracts, evaluates, and hires qualified talent. This role partners with hiring managers to understand workforce needs, develops sourcing strategies, manages candidate pipelines, and ensures a seamless onboarding process. The Specialist leverages the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to manage requisitions, track candidate progress, maintain compliance, and support recruitment analytics.

• Facilitate structured intake meetings to clarify role requirements and competencies.
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies, including job boards, social media, networking, and community partnerships.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Proficiency with ATS and HRIS platforms.
• Strong sourcing skills, including advanced search techniques.

• Knowledge of federal and state employment laws and recruitment compliance requirements.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret recruitment data.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 60 college credits in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related field. Bachelors Degree preferred.
• OR HS diploma with 7 - 10 years of progressively responsible HR experience with strong focus on full-cycle recruitment, sourcing, ATS utilization, and onboarding.
• HR certifications (PHR, SHRM-CP, APHR) preferred but not required.
