Reports to: Director of Talent Acquisition
About the Role:
We’re looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to drive high-volume recruitment of hourly associates from sourcing through interviewing, selection, and onboarding. This person will manage a steady pipeline of candidates across assigned roles, working against clear daily and weekly hiring goals and using recruiting technology, dashboards, and data to track performance and keep hiring on pace.
This is a highly execution-oriented, process-driven role. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and is comfortable getting into the weeds to move candidates through the funnel, remove barriers, and ensure positions are filled efficiently. Beyond day-to-day recruiting, this person will continuously evaluate the hiring process for bottlenecks and inefficiencies, identify opportunities to improve speed and quality, and leverage technology both tactically and strategically to make high-volume hiring more effective.
What You'll Do:
Sourcing
- Proactively source candidates through job boards, social platforms, referrals, databases, and other channels
- Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified candidates for assigned open roles
- Perform initial screening of candidates against role requirements before advancing them in the process
Interviewing
- Conduct structured interviews and evaluate candidates against role requirements using consistent, documented criteria
- Provide clear, timely feedback and go/no-go recommendations after each interview
- Coordinate interview logistics using recruiting technology and automated scheduling tools
Onboarding
- Manage the onboarding process for new hires from offer acceptance through their first weeks
- Ensure required paperwork, background checks, and compliance steps are completed accurately and on time
- Coordinate start dates, equipment, access, and first-day logistics with relevant internal teams
Process Improvement & KPI Ownership
- Own daily and weekly KPIs across sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding; know your numbers and what's driving them at all times
- Continuously assess the end-to-end recruiting process for barriers, bottlenecks, or inefficiencies and recommend fixes
- Get into the weeds on a role, candidate, or workflow when volume, quality, or timelines are at risk
- Use recruiting technology both tactically (day-to-day sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding efficiency) and strategically (identifying new tools or workflow changes that improve results over time)
Goals & Escalations
- Meet daily and weekly production goals across all stages of the process
- Identify and escape barriers — process, people, or technology — to the Director of Talent Acquisition promptly
- Reprioritize workload quickly as urgency, volume, or business needs shift
- Work closely with hiring managers to understand role requirements and hiring plans
- Communicate pipeline status, trends, and process feedback to the Director of Talent Acquisition
What We're Looking For:
- Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply. Experience in recruiting, HR, customer service, sales, operations, or a related field is a plus, but not required.
- Organized, process-driven, and goal-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet daily activity goals, and follow through on commitments.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and team members.
- Proactive problem-solver who looks for ways to overcome obstacles, improve processes, and support a positive candidate experience.
- Technology comfortable and adaptable, with the ability to learn new systems, tools, and processes quickly.
- Detail-oriented and hands-on, with a willingness to learn and support all aspects of the recruiting process. Comfortable working in-office full time.
Nice to Have:
- Experience using ATS, CRM, reporting, or other business technology platforms.
- Strong interest in technology, process improvement, and automation.
- Experience working with data, dashboards, KPIs, or performance metrics.
- Ability to identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume, or performance-driven environment.
- Previous experience in recruiting, HR, customer service, sales, or operations

- Salary Range: $50,000-$57,000/yr, not including performance-based bonus
- Health, Vision & Dental Insurance, 401(k) plan offered
