Job summary

Bosch Building Technologies North America in Burnsville, MN, is seeking a Talent Acquisition professional to lead full-cycle recruitment for field roles and build a robust talent pipeline. The role acts as a brand ambassador, partnering with hiring managers and developing sourcing strategies to attract diverse, top talent.

You will collaborate with HR to enhance our employer brand, improve processes, and provide regular hiring updates while ensuring confidentiality and high-quality candidate

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Sales and Marketing or a related field
  • 3 - 5 years of experience within Talent Acquisition (agency or inhouse)
  • Technical recruitment from the construction & building technology industry, with emphasis on Technicians, Engineers, Estimators, Project Coordinators and Project Managers
  • Extensive understanding of HR databases, ATS, and candidate management systems (3+ years)
  • Strong experience with sourcing platforms: LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed Resume Database, Juicebox, ZoomInfo
  • Advanced sourcing & headhunting techniques for uncovering candidates
  • Detail-oriented, accurate, thorough and confidential in handling data
  • Strong organizational & time management skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication with staff and stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Perform and manage full-cycle recruitment activities including intake meetings, job postings, interviews, advising hiring managers, and candidate sourcing
  • Conduct in-depth phone interviews and drive submission/review with internal stakeholders
  • Develop and improve the overall recruitment process
  • Source and manage candidate pools through active and passive outreach
  • Build talent pipelines through conferences, groups, and events
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies including networking, referrals, and social media
  • Maintain relationships with candidates and hiring managers to achieve hiring goals
  • Partner with department leaders to understand business drivers and regional challenges

Job description

Due to continued business growth, we are looking to expand our Talent Acquisition Department! You will recruit various field positions to help support our ever-growing teams. You will be responsible for building a strong talent pipeline that increases our bench strength. As a brand ambassador, you will act to maximize employee engagement and development in areas of talent acquisition. You enjoy being creative and utilizing a wide variety of sourcing methods beyond postings.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Perform and manage full-cycle recruitment activities which includes intake meetings, creating / writing job postings, conducting candidate interviews, advising hiring managers, understanding recruiting needs & job requirements, and self-performing candidate sourcing / headhunting
  • Conduct in-depth phone interviews and drive submission / review process with internal stakeholders
  • Develop and continuously improve the overall recruitment process, both internally and externally.
  • Source and manage candidate pools by identifying and approaching active and passive candidates through appropriate channels.
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines through continuous sourcing and attending relevant industry conferences, professional group meetings, and other events to target top talent.
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies to include professional networking, direct sourcing, employee referral program, and social media to focus on a diverse pool of talent.
  • Build and maintain excellent relationships with candidates and hiring managers to achieve recruitment goals.
  • Partner with department leaders to gain an understanding of the business drivers, objectives and regional challenges affecting talent acquisition.
  • Generate key hiring metrics and provide regular (weekly & monthly) progress updates on search findings to senior management.
  • Facilitate follow-up meetings with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Participate in the development of the job evaluation process and work with managers to create job descriptions and postings.
  • Uphold confidentiality in the execution of the role.
  • Partner with the HR team to build and enhance our employer brand through the management of our Talent Community, Employee Value Proposition, and content creation.
  • Participates in HR related projects and/or performs other tasks as required
  • In collaboration with the HR team, support employee communication and messaging to ensure that employees are familiar with the organization’s mission, goals, policies, and expectations.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Sales and Marketing or a related field
  • 3 - 5 years of experience within Talent Acquisition (agency or inhouse)
  • Technical recruitment from the construction & building technology industry, with an emphasis being placed on; Technicians (Senior, Lead & Service), Engineers, Estimators, Project Coordinators and Project Managers
  • Extensive understanding of HR databases, applicant tracking systems and candidate management systems as demonstrated by 3 + years of experience
  • Strong experience working with sourcing platforms; LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed Resume Database, Juicebox and ZoomInfo
  • Advanced sourcing & headhunting techniques for uncovering candidates (through unconventional methods)
  • Detailed-oriented, accurate, thorough and takes extreme pride in work.
  • Strong organizational & time management skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills including the ability to deliver effective presentations to staff members
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5 years of technical recruitment experience in Building Automation, Fire Life Safety and Integrated Security systems
  • 5 years of advanced sourcing & headhunting techniques within construction & building technology industry
  • Foundational knowledge of employment laws and regulations across North America (including Canada & USA)
  • Knowledge of industry trends, salary benchmarks and competitive landscapes within the building technologies, or construction field.
  • High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS;

  • Ability to focus, at a computer, for extended periods of time.
WORKING CONDITIONS;
  • The office is clean, orderly, properly lighted, and ventilated. Noise levels are considered low to moderate.
Additional Information
  • Compensation: $70,000 - $90,000 (DOE)
  • Working Hours: This position generally works Monday- Friday, overtime and on call when necessary
  • Travel Requirements: 10%
