ACCIONA is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist on a 12-month fixed-term contract to support full-cycle recruitment across technical and corporate roles, with a focus on construction management and civil engineering. Based in Atlanta, you will partner with hiring managers, manage requisitions in Workday, and help ensure a smooth candidate experience.

The ideal candidate has a degree in HR or related field and at least 3 years of full-cycle recruiting across entry to senior levels.

Qualifications

  • Degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or a combination of education and experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience in full-cycle recruiting, ideally in the construction, engineering, or infrastructure sector.
  • Experience recruiting both technical and support roles.
  • Experience recruiting candidates across various levels, from entry-level to senior leadership roles.
  • Experience with a variety of interview methods and techniques, including structured, behavioral, and competency-based interviews.
  • Familiarity with Workday or another HRIS/recruitment system is strongly preferred.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience coordinating onboarding, reference checking, and pre-employment documentation.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple roles and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining accurate and thorough recruitment records and documentation.
  • Familiarity with employment laws and regulations related to recruitment, hiring practices, and candidate data privacy.
  • Previous exposure to other areas of HR is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end, high-volume recruitment for a range of positions across technical (e.g., engineering, construction management) and corporate support functions (e.g., finance, procurement, document control, administration).
  • Develop and execute tailored sourcing strategies using various tools and platforms (LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, associations, etc.).
  • Utilize Workday to manage job requisitions, applicant tracking, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to define position requirements, screen candidates, coordinate interviews, and manage feedback loops.
  • Lead interviews, ensuring consistency and alignment with role requirements and company values.
  • Facilitate interview scheduling, reference checks, background verifications, and pre-employment administrative processes.
  • Support onboarding activities, ensuring a smooth transition for new hires and alignment with company policies and culture.
  • Liaise with colleges, universities, and industry associations as needed to support early talent programs and strategic partnerships established by the broader HR or project teams.
  • Participate in career fairs, industry events, and talent branding initiatives.
  • Assist with other HR functions as needed (e.g., employee engagement, compliance support, training coordination).
  • Maintain high standards of candidate experience and promote ACCIONA’s employer brand throughout the recruitment process.
  • Other duties as required.

Talent Acquisition Specialist (12-month fixed-term contract, with the possibility of extension) will play a key role in supporting full-cycle recruitment for a broad range of positions across varying levels of seniority.
