Supports the Recruiting function by building pipelines of talent through effective and innovative sourcing while anticipating industry trends and utilizing market information to ensure best-in-class candidate sourcing.
This is a Salary Exempt position.
Partners with Recruiters, Hiring Managers, and other HR Professionals to source and recruit candidates for assigned disciplines. Builds effective sourcing and assessment approaches, identifies and markets hard-to-fill positions, and manages expectations of both hiring managers and candidates. Builds a pipeline of talent by sourcing active and passive candidates, engaging with identified ‘good fit’ talent, and using strategies like social media, employee referrals, job fairs, and professional networking.
Manages the recruitment lifecycle using ADP recruiting software, from application to selection, including screening, disposition, and prioritization of requisitions. Conducts pre-screening interviews, recommends candidates for interviews, maintains applicant tracking data, and reports for internal and compliance purposes. Guides internal clients on interviewing, references, salary negotiation, relocation, and hiring policies.
Participates in team activities, including development and communication of policies and practices, attending meetings, and fostering team cohesion. Identifies and addresses areas lacking cohesiveness and works collaboratively to resolve issues and achieve organizational synergy.
Familiar with Simmons’ operating systems principles, including quality, security, and company policies, and understands their impact and the importance of communication regarding system improvements.

Physical Activities include computer work, visual verification, communication, and movement within manufacturing environments. May require travel via car or plane to recruiting events and work-sites.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by visiting facilities.
Travel may include overnight stays and domestic travel to multiple facilities or training events.
Technical Experience: 1-3 years in candidate sourcing via social media, resume databases, cold calling, or related recruiting/IT roles. Boolean search skills preferred. Familiarity with employment law, HR policies, OFCCP regulations, and Applicant Tracking Systems preferred. Strong written communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office are required.
Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Marketing, Communication, or related fields, or 4 years of relevant work experience.
Preferred Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Marketing, Communications, IT, or related fields. Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
