Job summary

Medidata is seeking an experienced Senior Talent Sourcer to partner across Sales/GTM, Professional Services, Engineering and Corporate Functions. This role is a strategic talent advisor and pipeline architect, using advanced Boolean search, deep-web research, market mapping and hyper-personalized outreach to engage passive talent.

You will focus on enterprise SaaS, healthcare tech and life sciences, owning end-to-end sourcing from candidate engagement to screening, aiming for high conversion

Qualifications

• Experience: 5+ years of dedicated talent sourcing experience in a fast-paced B2B SaaS, Life Sciences Tech, or high-growth technology environment.
• Cross-Functional Domain Expertise: Proven success in sourcing across at least three of the target key profiles: Sales, Professional Services, Technical Engineering, or Corporate Functions.
• Advanced Sourcing Toolkit: Mastery of advanced Boolean search techniques, LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, Stack Overflow, X-Ray searches, diversity databases, and talent intelligence platforms.

Responsibilities

• Multi-Domain Strategic Sourcing: Build pipelines for Enterprise Account Executives, Solutions Architects, Commercial Directors, and Partner Sales professionals in life sciences or B2B SaaS.
• Professional Services & Clinical Ops: Source Subject Matter Experts, Clinical Trial Management Consultants, Implementation Engineers, and Solution Consultants.
• Engineering & Technology: Identify software engineers, data scientists, cloud architects, and product managers for scalable SaaS platforms, AI/ML models.
• Corporate Functions: Uncover talent across Finance, Legal, HR, Marketing, and Operations.
• Passive Outreach: Craft compelling messaging to achieve above-industry conversion rates.
• Initial Screening: Conduct phone screens to assess alignment, culture add, motivations, and compensation.

Key Responsibilities

Multi-Domain Strategic Sourcing

Sales & GTM: Build robust pipelines for Enterprise Account Executives, Solutions Architects, Commercial Directors, and Partner Sales professionals familiar with complex life science or B2B SaaS deal cycles.

Professional Services & Clinical Ops: Source specialized Subject Matter Experts, Clinical Trial Management Consultants, Implementation Engineers, and Solution Consultants with deep expertise in EDC, eCOA, and clinical data management tools.

Engineering & Technology: Identify top-tier software engineers, data scientists, cloud architects, and product managers proficient in scalable SaaS platforms, AI/ML models, and regulatory-compliant software.

Corporate Functions: Uncover top-tier functional talent across Finance, Legal, HR, Marketing, and Operations.

Passive Outreach: Craft compel-and-convert messaging tailored to Medidata’s mission, platform capability, and unique value proposition to achieve above-industry conversion rates.

Initial Screening: Conduct rigorous phone screens to assess candidate technical/functional alignment, cultural add, career motivations, and compensation expectations before handing off to recruiters.

Market Intelligence & Mapping: Map target competitor talent landscapes (PharmaTech, HealthTech, Enterprise SaaS) and present actionable hiring insights to recruiters and business stakeholders.

Qualifications & Core Requirements

Data-Driven & Consultative: Ability to interpret sourcing metrics, diagnose funnel bottlenecks, and partner collaboratively with TA Recruiters to adjust strategies mid-stream.

High-Touch Messaging: Demonstrated ability to write personalized, value-driven candidate outreach that yields high response rates among passive candidates.

Fast-Paced Adaptability: Comfort managing multiple sourcing projects simultaneously across distinct functional pipelines with shifting priorities.

As with all roles, Medidata sets ranges based on a number of factors including function, level, candidate expertise and experience, and geographic location.

The hourly range for positions that will be physically based in the NYC Metro Area is $45-55/hr.
