Leading writer of Property & Casualty Reinsurance seeking a Talent Acquisition Coordinator to support their end-to-end recruitment process. I have supported this client for over 20 years, and they boast one of the most employee-centric corporate cultures I’ve encountered. This is a salary-based, fixed-term position, including all company benefits. The initial term is 12 months with the possibility of permanent conversion.

This role is based in midtown Manhattan, close to major transportation hubs, and involves a 4-day workweek in the office with a flexible remote day.

About the Position

Reporting directly to the TA Manager-US & Bermuda, the Talent Acquisition Coordinator plays a key role in the success of the recruiting process. The successful candidate will support recruitment activities, ensuring a positive experience for candidates and hiring managers.

The role offers opportunities to contribute to developing and implementing best practices in talent acquisition, and may include participating in resume screening for suitable roles. The position primarily supports recruiting in the US, Canada, and Bermuda, with potential support for other locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the end-to-end recruitment process, including scheduling, interview logistics, feedback communication, offer generation, and onboarding handoff.
  • Coordinate interview schedules and logistics for candidates and hiring teams.
  • Collaborate with external recruiting firms to gather procurement or contracting information, ensuring proper documentation.
  • Represent the company as a Brand Ambassador, providing excellent candidate and hiring manager experiences.
  • Maintain candidate search momentum, escalate issues, and mitigate risks.
  • Ensure timely and compassionate dispositioning of candidates.
  • Maintain search documentation such as job descriptions, status reports, and interview plans.
  • Work with HR to prepare onboarding materials and schedule sessions for new hires.
  • Uphold the company's core values: Focus, Respect, Integrity, Precision, Passion.
Candidate Qualifications
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in recruiting, especially in fast-paced, multi-jurisdictional environments.
  • Strong organizational, administrative, and time-management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with confidence in engaging with candidates and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Business ownership mindset with a sense of urgency.
  • Discretion and judgment in handling confidential information.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, ATS systems (preferably Workday), and experience with LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and personalities.
  • Results-oriented with practical judgment and capacity to escalate when necessary.
