Job summary

ABM Industries is seeking a highly motivated Talent Acquisition Recruiter for Facilities Management & Skilled Trades. The role supports hiring across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic with a hybrid arrangement (in-office Mon-Thu) at Somerville, MA or New York, NY offices.

Salary ranges from $95,000 to $110,000, with eligibility for incentives. The recruiter willpartner with managers, source top talent, and manage the end-to-end interview and onboarding process while staying current on industry

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience as a recruiter, preferably in facilities management or commercial skilled trades.
• Strong knowledge of the facilities management and facilities engineering industries.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in applicant tracking systems and recruitment software.
• Ability to work independently and in a team, with strong attention to detail.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
• Knowledge of employment laws and regulations related to recruitment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing requirements and develop job descriptions.
• Source, interview, and assess potential candidates to determine qualifications and suitability.
• Build a network of qualified candidates through job boards, social media, events, and referrals.
• Develop and maintain relationships with educational institutions and trade organizations.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and legal requirements for facilities management recruitment.
• Manage recruitment databases and track key performance metrics.
• Provide a positive candidate experience and keep candidates informed throughout the hiring process.
• Coordinate interview process with hiring managers, including scheduling, debriefs, and offers.
• Maintain regular communication with candidates and provide feedback for a smooth process.
• Assist in onboarding and orientation programs for new hires.

This is a Hybrid Work Arrangement (in-office Mon-Thu) that can sit in either of these ABM offices:

Pay: $95,000–$110,000

The pay listed is the salary range for this position. Any specific offer will vary based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

Qualifications
