Job description

WinnCompanies is seeking an experienced Full-Cycle Recruiter to support our east coast operations and regional corporate offices while working out of our downtown Boston, MA corporate headquarters.

You will collaborate on a daily basis with our Talent Acquisition Operations department, Human Resource Business Partners, Regional leaders, and local Property Management departments to source, screen, assess, and hire top talent for our Residential and Corporate departments while offering high-level candidate experience and customer service.

Typical Schedule:

- Monday through Thursday working onsite in the Boston HQ office located in Government Center (Travel to local properties/events as needed)

- Friday is typically work from home (remote)

- Full-time hours, 40+ hours per week, as an exempt salaried role

Travel Requirements:

- 5-10% regional travel for local career fairs, onsite WinnCompanies hiring events, and industry networking.

- Must have reliable transportation and valid driver's license to travel regionally as needed.


What You'll Do
  • Provide full-cycle recruiting support to your assigned region for a wide variety of multi-family affordable housing communities to hire onsite staff, such as maintenance technicians and supervisors, property managers, and leasing professionals.
  • Provide full-cycle recruiting support to hire corporate staff across multiple departments and functions
  • Develop and manage local partnerships with trade/vocational schools, college/universities, and workforce development programs to create talent pipelines.
  • Manage job postings and announcements, applicant correspondence, employee resumes, employment application forms, scheduling interviews, etc.
  • Build and maintain candidate pipelines through passive sourcing on our internal and external recruiting tools: Phenom (CRM), Lever (ATS), Indeed, LinkedIn, social media, attending local recruiting/networking events, generating candidate referrals, etc.
  • Meet consistent monthly hiring targets created by TA leadership and key stakeholders across your assigned regions
  • Follow standard WinnCompanies hiring and onboarding policy and procedures.
  • Provide a high level of customer service to internal and external customers in a professional, service-oriented, respectful manner using skills in active listening and problem solving.

  • Strong active and passive candidate sourcing skills through Lever, Phenom, Indeed, and LinkedIn.
  • High level of discretion and interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential personnel matters and documentation.
  • Strong organizational, record-keeping, and follow-up skills.
  • Acute attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, changing priorities as necessary.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing requirements with a positive attitude.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable presenting hiring updates to key stakeholders on a weekly/biweekly basis (virtually).
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and an effective team player.
  • Ability to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of employees (both management and staff alike), vendors, clients, and others.
What You'll Bring To Us
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3-5+ years of full cycle recruiting experience specializing in high-volume industries (specifically: skilled trades, facilities/maintenance, hotel/hospitality, property management, customer service, and/or staffing agency experience).
  • Minimum of 3 years of passive recruiting efforts, using ATS, CRMs and external resources.
  • Excellent computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, etc.).
  • Consultative recruiting approach to provide great support to both candidates and internal customers.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Solid understanding of federal and state employment law and principles.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Nice To Haves
  • Associate's degree and/or Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, or another related field.
  • Experience with Phenom CRM.
  • Experience with Lever ATS.
  • Residential property management or affordable housing experience.
  • Knowledge of general human resources concepts and policies.
